About DDD

I dye everything with love and care and attention to detail. It's a special responsibility to dye a skein of yarn - beautiful fiber that will spend so much time in your hands, becoming something wonderful. 

I’m Diana, and I dye yarns made of silk/linen, silk/seacell, silk/bamboo, tussah silk, and bamboo - 7 different families and a variety of weights, from cobweb to DK. I’ve been dyeing for well over a decade, though it was all clothing and accessories until early 2015 when I became addicted to knitting and began dyeing yarn. At first, it was just a few skeins for myself - but I got so many requests that eventually I stopped doing clothing and focused entirely on yarn. Because really, what could be better than enjoying and being inspired by seeing people make stuff with yarn I dyed? I get to be a proud auntie! :)

Otherwise, let's see. I live in Atlanta, my studio is my home, and I'm happily married to a brilliant man, who is a mad inventor and exceptional musician. I love coffee and chocolate and hand-made soap. It's a true blessing to get to share my love of color and yarn with you.
