This colorway was inspired by the cover of a book by Kent Haruf, “Plainsong”, which takes place in the plains of Colorado east of Denver. It’s a marvelous book, spare and elegant, never melodramatic, true and simple and heartbreakingly tender, where decency is its own reward.
The yarn is a cool blue grey, deepening into gunmetal, speckled and spattered with mostly yellows and blues that overlap to make greens from olive to grass. Quiet and beautiful.
