Pitch is about as close to black as I can get with my process and with these dyes. On bamboo, this color leans to deep, deep blue black. On silk blends, like all the RavensWing and 2xR (Double Ravens), the color leans to a deep purply grey, almost aubergine on the silk and dark grey on the plant fiber.

A lab color has a defined formula and is entirely repeatable - I just haven’t gone through the dye-across-all-families-photograph-color correct-and-publish rigamarole. The photographs for lab colors are often supplied by you, my customers, and are not officially color corrected. :)
